Stéphane Mbia

Stéphane Mbia Etoundi (born 20 May 1986) is a Cameroonian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Turkish club Trabzonspor and the Cameroon national team.
He totalled 174 games and 9 goals in Ligue 1 over eight seasons in the service of Rennes and Marseille. He spent two years at Sevilla, winning the Europa League in both.
He has represented Cameroon on over 60 occasions since winning his first cap in 2005 and scored a total of 3 goals for the national team. He was included in their squads for the 2008 Olympics, two Africa Cup of Nations tournaments and two FIFA World Cups. He was given the captain's armband on 26 August 2014.
